CMCF Opens Central Minnesota Boys and Men Grant Round

St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) is excited to announce the opening of the Central Minnesota Boys and Men Competitive Grant Round. This grant round’s application deadline is October 31, 2025.

CMCF is seeking proposals for programs and projects that address key challenges facing males, such as educational disparities, mental health stigma, fatherhood support, and career development opportunities.

The following are focus areas for this grant round: Education and skill-building, fatherhood and family engagement, mental health support, mentorship and leadership development, and positive masculinity promotion.

Last year, the Central Minnesota Boys and Men grant round was able to grant out $10,000. The following organizations received grants:

  • $2,500 was awarded to the Boys & Girls of Central MN for its Passport to Manhood program.
  • $2,500 was awarded to the D Blake Center for its Boys to Men program.
  • $2,500 was awarded to the United Way of Central Minnesota for its Community Mentorship: Fostering Resilience in Young Black Men program.
  • $2,500 was awarded to the Veteran Resource & Enrichment Center for its Oasis CREW Military Family Garden project.

For the grant round, programs or projects must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit, school or government entity and serve residents in Benton, Stearns and/or Sherburne counties. Preference will be given to organizations with an annual budget of $500,000 or less. Online applications can be found at: communitygiving.org/grants
