Alexandria, Minn. – The Board of Directors of the Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) and CommunityGiving are pleased to announce the hiring of Holly Witt as the Executive Director of the Alexandria Area Community Foundation.
Holly Witt comes to the AACF from the Lakes County Service Cooperative where she served non-profits, cities, counties and other government agencies in a 9 county area as the Assistant Manager of Member Services. A native of Janesville, she attended Alexandria Technical and Community College and graduated from University of Minnesota-Morris with a degree in Human Services. Witt has worked previously as the Executive Director of the Morris Area Chamber of Commerce and as the Nonprofit Resource Specialist for Bremer Bank of Alexandria.
Jason Pohlen, Chair of the Search Committee and Immediate Past Chair of the AACF Board of Directors noted, “We are thrilled for Holly to be begin her work as Executive Director of the AACF. We believe her previous experience of collaborating across many different sectors as well as her passion for community will guide her and the AACF as we continue to position ourselves as a philanthropic leader in the Alexandria area.”

The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local Alexandria area.
