Brainerd, Minn. – Most of us know the importance of planning for the future and saving through an individual retirement plan. But how can we also ensure that our local hometown communities are positioned for growth and are able to respond to future challenges and opportunities? The Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation (BLACF) hopes that you will come alongside us to build a permanent resource that will grow through investment returns to ensure a thriving Lakes Area now and into the future. Together, our Community Foundation provides grant funding to critical nonprofits and plays a key role in identifying and addressing community needs. This work is made possible through partnerships and donors like you.
BLACF is proud to have been selected as one of CommunityGiving’s three community foundation partners to participate in the Capacity Building Cohort. This includes a $25,000 challenge grant from the Blandin Foundation. Through December 31st, your gift of any size to the BLACF’s Community Impact Fund will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $25,000 to support the Foundation’s important work.
