Willmar Area Community Foundation
The Willmar Area Community Foundation started in 1998, to foster charitable giving opportunities in the region and better meet the needs of the Willmar area community. It is an affiliate of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, a regional foundation based in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
The Willmar Area Community Foundation with our partner, the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, is a growing philanthropic force in Kandiyohi County. The partnership with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation enables the Willmar Area Foundation to cost effectively provide a wide variety of services to donors, their professional advisors and nonprofit organizations in the region. We are dedicated to helping individuals and organizations give back to their communities. Since our founding, we have awarded $1.4 million in grants to charities in and outside of our region.
