Willmar Women's Fund Grants

The Women's Fund of the Willmar Area Community supports access to lives of economic and social strength for women and girls.


Funding Priorities

  • Women in Transition: Immigrant women, non-traditional college students, etc.
  • Women or Girls at Risk: Women who have experienced abuse, pregnant teenagers, etc.
  • Educating Girls and Women: Scholarships, educational seminars regarding health and other issues, etc. 


    Applications are accepted from organizations that address an issue confronting teenage girls in Kandiyohi County or underserved women age 55+.

Application Deadline

The deadline for grant applications is July of each year. Applications must be submitted online by midnight on the grant deadline date.   No hard copies will be accepted.

Grant application will be available online starting April 1st.


Grantmaking Process

  • Applicant submits online application.
  • Recommendation on application by grants advisory committee will be made to Board of Directors.
  • Board of Directors will make decision.
  • Applicant is notified of funding decision.
