The Resource Library/Funding Information Network

As a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center, the Central Minnesota Community Foundation is a member of a nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies.

Our Resource Library serves the nonprofit sector. It provides visitors with free public access to the Foundation Center's core collection, plus our own collection of over 250 titles that include grantmaker directories, books, periodicals and videos on fundraising, board development, executive leadership, marketing and communications and nonprofit management.

Visitors have free access to the Foundation Center's electronic databases, The Foundation Directory Online Professional, available on two computer terminals. This fully searchable database includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation's top funders.

We also have Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, where you can research more than 6,200 foundation and public charity programs that fund artists, students, researchers, and other individual grantseekers.

Also available at the Central Minnesota Community Foundation is the Minnesota Grant makers Online, a searchable online database of Minnesota grant makers and grants.  All these databases are only accessible at the Resource Center at the Community Foundation location.

The Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Grants to Individuals Online are available to visitors.   To guarantee access to either database visitors can schedule and reserve a time-slot by calling 877-253-4380.
