Fred, owner of Shermock Financial Services, is an advocate of charitable giving—when working with his clients and in pursuing his volunteer interests. He has worked with numerous nonprofits in their development efforts.

JOHN LEISEN - PRESIDENT'S AWARD
John has been a quiet community leader for many years in business as the president of the former Zapp Bank, an early board member of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, and chair of the Friends of the Gardens. In these and other countless ways, John has contributed to making the community a better place to live.

CINDY FAYE JOHNSON - ATHENA AWARD
Cindy has excelled both as a financial professional and a community volunteer. She was the first woman financial broker in a St. Cloud office and now serves as senior vice president of investments at UBS Financial Services Inc. She dedicates time to a variety of causes, many of which focus on the welfare of girls and women.
