Apply for a Scholarship

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation administers 77 scholarship funds for current high school students planning for post-secondary education, current 4-year college students and current technical and community college students. The scholarships award nearly $200,000 annually to students in central Minnesota and beyond.

Many of our scholarships have moved to a new online tool; however, some scholarship applications continue to be offered through the high school.

Online scholarship applications must be submitted online through our website by midnight on the respective scholarship deadline unless otherwise noted. To apply for an online application you will be required to "create a new account" if you are first time user of our system.  Once you have established an account, the system will remember your contact information and will automatically tie it to any other online scholarship applications submitted through our online system.

The scholarships that require a hard copy application must be postmarked by midnight on the scholarship deadline date.  If the deadline date falls on a holiday or a Sunday, the application must be postmarked by midnight on the next business day following the application deadline.

Scholarship Search

You may use the tool below to search for scholarships for which you might be eligible.  You may narrow your search by either the high school you attend or the college you plan to attend, but you will need to complete one search each way for a comprehensive view of scholarship opportunities. The college list will only include scholarships restricted to that college. Review specific scholarships for other eligibility requirements, such as field of study or grade point average.

If you are having trouble using this search tool and are using Internet Explorer, please make sure you have an updated version. If you do not click here to Download Internet Explorer 8  You can also try using Mozilla Firefox
