WACF Board of Directors Elects New Members


Gratz, Schwab, Bredberg to Serve Three-Year Terms


Willmar, Minn. – The Willmar Area Community Foundation Board of Directors elects three new business leaders as members. Joel Gratz, Lourdez Schwab and Paula Bredberg also serve on the Foundation’s Development Committee.

Gratz is a partner at Christianson & Associates, and lives on an Atwater farm with his wife, Patty, and their four sons.

Schwab is a personal banker at Heritage Bank.  She and her husband, Jason, live in Willmar with their three children.

Bredberg is vice president of business banking at Bremer Bank in Willmar. She lives in Spicer with her husband, Jeff, and has four adult children and stepchildren.

The Board governs the Foundation, establishes policy, sets priorities and makes final grant decisions. All members are volunteers and serve three-year terms that can be renewed three times.

The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) is a public charity that attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community. Since 1998, WACF has grown to more than $6 million in assets and awarded $2 million in grants to local nonprofits.
