The Community Foundation brings together organizations in need of financial assistance and people who are interested in charitable giving. The assets of the Community Foundation are comprised of many funds with an array of guidelines and application deadlines.
For listings of competitive grant opportunities, please visit our Alexandria Grants, Brainerd Grants, Willmar Grants or Central Minnesota Grants pages. Specific criteria, grant guidelines and grant application forms are provided for each grant opportunity.
Please submit your online application prior to the Foundation's established deadlines. All applications must be submitted to the Community Foundation office online by midnight of the deadline date. If you have questions, please contact our Director of Programs, Susan Lorenz.
Any organization classified as charitable within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is eligible to apply. Applicants not meeting this requirement may apply through a fiscal agent. Any eligible 501(c)(3) organization having program objectives relating to the application may serve as a fiscal agent.
